Criss Cross Mangosauce meets with Charlotte’s Mayor

My name is Ana Lucia Divins,  I am the Co-Founder of Criss Cross Mangosauce, LLC, an educational company offering bilingual (English/Spanish) products, programs and resources for children in the US.  Our goal is to foster children’s love for languages, cultures and arts. We introduce Latin culture and Spanish language in a fun and educational way.

Last week I had the opportunity to spend time with Mayor Foxx and a small group of wonderful women talking about our realities as small business owners in Charlotte.   We had a very open and honest conversation. Although, we shared our successes and positive stories, we were also very candid about the challenges of running and sustaining a successful business in the current environment.  Mayor Foxx was a kind listener and it was exciting to hear his perspective on the issues and his plans and interest to support this important sector of our community.
